Apple Music App For Android Might See Price Drop Coming For Play Music

The ongoing WWDC event has played host to numerous announcements already but the biggest one yet is with Apple Music. The music streaming application is about to go live on the App Store and it is going to rival Spotify.

Now, Apple has confirmed that Apple Music will also be offered on the Android platform. Despite being bitter rivals with Google, Apple has decided to offer Android the Apple Music app and it will be coming out this fall.

The sweetest bit is that there is going to be a 3-months free membership for Apple Music. Following that, users will have to pay a subscription fee of $9.99. There is also a Family Plan that can cater up to 6 people and this comes with a fee of $14.99.

The Apple Music features better playlist sharing between friends and social features. Also, it comes with lyrics preloaded, enhance searching, curated radio with categories and many more.

With the Apple Music getting all the attention now, we are expecting Google to respond with their Play Music. The latter might not be popular but it has the upper-hand in terms of Chromecast support.

Perhaps, Google might give Play Music that much needed upgrade and a smaller subscription fee to compete with Apple Music. It is not confirmed yet but it is a possibility nonetheless.
