When Motorola started to send updates out to owners of the Motorola DROID Turbo back in January of this year it caused a great deal of excitement among owners of the handset. This was due to the fact that people began to say that it was Android 5.0 Lollipop that the users were testing. Now the update has been handed out we have found out that the update wasn’t anything quite as exciting as this.
In fact the update for the Motorola DROID Turbo wasn’t Android 5.0 Lollipop it was only a system update taking the handset to 21.44.12 and it fixed some issues and bugs that were said to be to do with the VoLTE bug.
So it is looking as though the owners of the Motorola DROID Turbo are going to have to wait for some time yet to get hold of the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The news may not be too bad though as owners of the Moto X and those who own the Pure Edition already have the update and they have reported issues.
