Speculations have gone rife in hinting that Porsche is about to produce a simple, subcompact hatchback as its next major vehicle. On the other hand analysts write the idea off as false since there is no way for Porsche to participate in the common market.
Either way, there is no certainty on whether or not Porsche will be developing a hot hatchback. While the German carmaker has yet to address the rumours, one independent concept designer has shared his visualization of the vehicle and it looks enticing.
Known as Theophiluschin, the lad took the Porsche Macan and gave it a smaller look. Also, he made the rear narrower to give it a more hatchback look.
While going small might make the Porsche look cheap, the idea of seeing a downsized exclusive engine running the Porsche hatchback sounds super interesting. The hatchback has always been a popular choice among city dwellers as they offer a thrilling driving experience.
If Porsche is to produce a hatchback that is in any way similar to how Tehophiluschin designed it, we might see a real challenger to the market dominator, Ford Fiesta.
Then again, the idea seems unlikely. Ever since Porsche first started, they are identified as a major luxury vehicle producer. The company won’t want to jeopardize its reputation for something cheap.
