The sky in Minecraft is about to get brighter and colourful during the New Year festival as 4J Studios is lining up an update that will add in fireworks into the game. This is confirmed after 4J Studios revealed a new screenshot for Minecraft Xbox 360 that shows fireworks and nothing more.
The feature is also said to come with the TU18 update. 4J Studios teased that the fireworks will allow the players to illuminate the sky in a fun way, while also exhibit your creations with the world.
Like most other features on Minecraft, the fireworks will also be customizable. The basic ingredient is only gun powder but this can be combined with things like golden nugget that will offer a star-shaped burst. Increasing the amount of gunpowder will increase the flight duration of the fireworks.
On the downside of things, 4J Studios failed to share on when TU18 will be released for the Xbox 360. Regardless, we can expect the update to arrive before the end of the year.
