It sucks to be a Minecraft player on the PS3, PS Vita and PS4 knowing that the gaming franchise is owned by Microsoft. Earlier this month, Minecraft on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One were treated to a huge update. As for the PS, the December update is still pending to arrive.
That was the case until earlier today, when 4J Studio announced that the update has been sent to Sony America, Sony Japan and Sony Europe. Unfortunately, only Minecraft on the European PS3, PS4 and PS Vita got the update with the other parts of the world being put to wait.
Some might wonder on what could be the cause of this whole mess? The answer is with the certification process. Depending on the region, getting the necessary certification for the DLC requires a couple of days, or more.
With that being said, Minecraft players on the Sony PS3, PS4 and PS Vita can look forward to receiving the December update in a matter of days from now. The DLC will bring in many new mobs and items into the open-world sandbox game.
