Kingdom Hearts 3 is currently getting produced by Square Enix and there is no doubt that the game is going to be massive when released. After all, Kingdom Hearts 3 will mark the end of Xehanort’s saga and it will also get launched across all gaming platforms.
As much as fans trust Square Enix to deliver a great game ahead, the fear that the game developer could get greedy and start forcing players to purchase DLCs. Even prior to Kingdom Hearts 3’s debut, Square Enix has already announced on exclusive Keyblade and outfits DLC for the game.
A sector of the fans that really hated the idea of microtransaction claims that they are hoping for the paid DLCs to be limited to accessories and nothing that involves or affect the gameplay in any way.
In the worst case scenario, Square Enix will probably introduce an expansion pack for Kingdom Hearts 3 but that won’t happen at least until years after the game gets released. The expansion pack is normally meant for the fans that can’t get enough of the series.
