A lot of people would see the Apple iPad Pro as a direct competitor to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 but that is far from the truth since the Surface Pro runs on PC chips while the Apple iPad Pro runs on smartphone chip.
Despite all the new features that the Apple iPad Pro has to offer, it is nowhere near as powerful or as versatile as the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and things will only get worse for them as rumors suggest that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be coming in with a few important upgrades included a fingerprint sensor that will be fitted on the device and not the keyboard.
It is also believed that Microsoft is working on a new charging dock for the Surface Pen so that the Pen can be charged whenever their users slide it into the dock. That way, the Pen will never run out of battery.
Maybe all these upgrades will force Apple to get real and power their Apple iPad Pro with the OSX.
