It is pretty common to see the manufacturer start offering discounts for their items once they are ready with a new one so when Microsoft started offering a discount for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, everybody assumes that the Pro 5 is about to arrive.
Fans have been waiting for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 for some time now and it is about time we get an upgraded version. iDigitalTimes reported that the Surface Pro 4 got a price cut of $100 last year followed by another $200 recently. The huge discount might be an indication that Microsoft is looking to clear out their Pro 4 stock.
There were also talk about Microsoft having a new Windows 10 update ready so they might be looking to launch both the new Pro 5 tablet and the updated Windows 10 OS at the same time. This was after Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft reported that they are delaying the release of the updated software because they want it to be compatible with the new Surface device.
Can it get any clearer than that?
