The most notable difference between the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Apple iPad Pro is the operating system used. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 uses similar Windows 10 like the Surface Pro 3, while the Apple iPad Pro operates with the latest iOS 9. Still, Windows 10 is considered as a better OS than the iOS.

In comparison, the Apple iPad Pro has a wider 12.9-inch screen, 1.57 pounds of weight and 264 PPI resolution. So, Apple wins over Microsoft for being a slimmer and lighter table.
