You would think that with the kind of success that Microsoft had with their hybrid tablet, the Microsoft Surface Phone, they would transition to smartphones immediately but while rumors have suggested that one is in the making, we have not seen or heard of anything from Microsoft yet.
It was revealed that Microsoft might have plans to create a Surface Phone although nobody knows when. The rumor got, even more, attention when it was reported that Microsoft bought the surfacephone.com domain.
This is of course far from a confirmation since they could be buying it to stop people from messing around with it or to hold on to it just in case they needed it in the future.
We know that Microsoft is looking to released a new smartphone that is different from what the market have been offering but nobody knows what they have in mind.
