With the kind of success Microsoft had with the Surface tablets, it makes sense that their next move should be about turning that tablet into a smartphone. Although rumors about Microsoft working on a Microsoft Surface Phone have been going on for some time, Microsoft has never really confirmed that they are working on one, they never denied it either.
The latest rumors suggest that the Microsoft Surface Phone is in the works and that the smartphone code name Juggernaut Alpha will be released in October this year. It is believed that the Microsoft Surface Phone will be coming in with a few spec options.
The base model will come with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is said that there is also a 6GB RAM model with 128GB of storage as well as an 8GB RAM model with 512GB Of internal storage.
Of course, like the Surface tablet, people are expecting the Surface Phone to come with a bigger price tag. It is estimated that the Surface Phone would retail in between $799 – $1099.
