There is no real reason to believe that Microsoft is actually working on a new Microsoft Surface Phone right now but that does not seem to stop the people from speculating that there might be a Surface Phone in the near future.
While Microsoft is still not willing to clear things up, it is easy to see how well the Surface Phone will fit in if its arrives. It is clear that the Lumia devices are not working out for Microsoft and that they really need a smartphone that is great enough to convince the market to give them a chance.
With the kind of reputation the Surface tablet has, the Surface Phone would get a lot of attention when it finally arrives. The Surface Phone would also be the perfect 3 in 1 device that Microsoft said they want to work on.
Some people think that we will be seeing the Surface Phone at the Mobile World Congress next year but we will have to wait and see if that happens.
