The Microsoft Lumia 950 comes in as the first smartphone to run on the new Windows 10 OS. Learning from their past mistake, Microsoft made sure that the Windows 10 on the device matches the PC version of the OS thus giving the whole Window system a better flow.
The device will come in with a 5.2 inch AMOLED display screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 and 564ppi. The device is fitted with a 20MP Zeiss lens camera.
Unlike some of the past Lumia devices we have seen, Microsoft chooses to go for a more toned down design on the 950 sticking to the basic with a plain black device. Some might call it boring, but there are other who think that the simple design is kind of refreshing.
One issue a lot of people seems to have with the Window phone is a lack of apps compared to the other OS. There are all the high profile apps, but some people are still afraid that they will be left out. It took them years to get the Instagram on Windows and it is currently still at its beta stage.
All in all, the Microsoft Lumia 950 is a great device with a great spec and while there were some weak points, we do not think it will be the last of Microsoft smartphones.
