A few have tried to take down Tesla and failed. The next to take on the challenge will be Mercedes.
According to Reuters, Mercedes is currently working on a few EV powered models that they will be using to take on premium EV car maker Tesla. It is said that they are currently working on six EV powered models but might introduce about nine models in the future. According to Reuters, Mercedes might also be working on a plug-in hybrid SUV that runs on the hydrogen fuel cell.
There were already rumors about them working on two sedans and two SUVs with the rest of the roster still a mystery. So when will we be seeing these model? Well, it is believed that we will only see them between 2018 to 2024.
We do not know if Mercedes will be able to take on Tesla in the future but it would be interesting to see them trying to.
