Maybach is an old luxurious brand that has fallen out of favour during the recent tough financial times. However, Mercedes have picked it up the brand and is working to make Maybach part of its luxury division.
The Maybach will be getting new SUV models in the future, and it will be like the GL-Class. The Maybach tie-up will also make Mercedes’ SUVs more luxurious than before.
The GL-Class will be the first of many Mercedes models that will get the Maybach touch and it will be a serious challenge in the premium SUV market.
Of course, no dates were revealed on when this will look to happen. Nevertheless, the news serve as a warning to Rolls Royce and Bentley.
