Unlike BMW or Audi, Mercedes does not create a fleet of Coupe SUVs for the masses but when it does, it always ended up as something legendary.
Soon, this may just happen as Mercedes had just released a brand new Concept Coupe SUV that spells luxury, comfort, power and efficiency all over it. The concept was unveiled by Mercedes’ CEO, Dieter Zetsche, during the Annual Shareholder’s Meeting of Daimler AG in Berlin yesterday.
However, the concept is still in the form of a virtual rendering but it will get a physical model during the upcoming Beijing Auto Show. At a glance, the concept design looks like an oversized sports car but on the inside, everything is inspired by the S-Class.
While it all sounds great, details are still scarce at this moment and fans have to wait until the major automotive event before being able to learn more about it. The vehicle is still nameless but some analyst revealed that the upcoming production will be carrying the MLC designation. The doors on the Concept strongly resemble those from the CLA and CLS.
Regardless of what the concept will look to offer, we can be certain that it will be the BMW X6 killer everyone has been waiting for.
