Mazda Explains Why MazdaSpeed 3 Won’t Happen Again

Fans have been begging Mazda to release a new Mazdaspeed 3 but with what Mazda has planned for the future, it looks like we can forget about seeing a new Mazdaspeed 3 on the road anytime soon.

We know that Mazda is working hard to change their image. They have been looking for ways to make their car more premium and if that is their goal right now, the Mazdaspeed 3 would not fit well into their plan.

According to Brown and Flynn, the company is currently focusing on upgrading each models so that they match the image of the brand. They added that they can’t afford to make any “half-assed” cars right now.

At the Chicago Auto Show, Mazda made it clear that their goal right now is to push their vehicles to become the new affordable, upscale and fun models in the market. Their decision to offer the CX-5 with a diesel engine might be part of that plan as well.
