It seems like Mass Effect 4 won’t be out any time soon, according to kpopstarz.com, who has reported that BioWare is going to focus on Dragon Age: Inquisition. Dragon Age is set to launch later this year.
Former BioWare community manager Chris Priestly said on the official company forum that the focus was on Dragon Age.
He also said that even though Dragon Age wasn’t all that popular with the fans, it was important to move the game along from DA origin to DA Inquisition to ensure a better future for the title. He said that if the company was to bring out Mass Effect 4 at the same time it would distract BioWare.
Priestly also said that the lack of info on Mass Effect 4 was to prevent the usual hype around a big game so that more eyes were on Inquisition.
It’s true that info has been skimpy – the most recent news we have is that the game won’t even be called Mass Effect 4 and that Captain Shepard won’t be featuring.
