Mass Effect 4 is one of the most anticipated games currently being developed by Bioware. Ever since the fourth sequel got announced, countless speculations and reveals have surfaced.
Separating fact from fiction, Mass Effect 4 is confirmed to be a whole new story. Commander Shepard has been axed by the game developer and a new protagonist will take his place. Aside from that, most of the information revealed on the game is mere teases and its specifications.
The best tease then came from Bioware which revealed that Mass Effect 4 has just past the halfway point in development. On top of that, the developers are already playtesting Mass Effect 4.
Now, dissecting everything that Bioware has said, Mass Effect 4 will look to feature in the same universe as the first trilogy. More evidences are pointing that the game will take place far into the future after Shepard’s era. The old protagonist is nothing more than a tale in the future scene.
Mass Effect 4 will take a major change in the series while preserving the traditional gameplay. For starters, it won’t be called Mass Effect 4. On top of that, there will be more playable races joing the new protagonist in his adventure.
Things will soon hit full throttle towards the game’s release when more information are expected to come to light when Bioware spill the beans on E3 in the coming week.
