Some people were not too happy when Disney announce that they were going to kill off the Marvel: Avengers Alliance and its sequel. Although the first game was a huge success, the sequel wasn’t so we could see why Disney wanted to kill it off but that does not mean that it all did not come as a surprise.
According to Disney, the main reason why they wanted to kill off the game was so that they can focus their time and effort on some other better game. While we still do not know what better game they meant, some people believe that Disney might be looking to create a new Marvel game and that is the reason why they took out the old game.
Disney has been getting a lot of hate from the gaming community after they killed off the Disney Infinity game. There were rumors saying that Disney might be trying to step away from being game developers and is looking to focus only on licensing.
