The LG Urbane 2 Smartwatch was supposed to come in to be the very first smartwatch to offer LTE on Android Wear smartwatch which explained why so many people were looking forward to its arrival.
Sadly, all the hype was for nothing as LG announced that they will be pulling out the device from the market indefinitely. LG announce that the smartwatch will be suspended due to some hardware issue although they failed to clarify on what the hardware issue is.
Those that have already pre-ordered the smartwatch will be fully refunded. They did not say that the device will not be coming back ever again but did hint that they have yet to decided if the device will be available in the future or not.
It was speculated that the problem lies with the new advanced component that the LG Urbane 2 was fitted with. The removal of the smartwatch was a huge disappointment and we hope LG will be able to resolve it eventually.
