LG have revealed the LG G4 Beat, which has been based around the LG G4, but if you own the G4 is it worth making the upgrade? It has specs that have been downgraded to make it more affordable but it has a display that is advanced along with a great look, good camera and the price is superb.
The LG G4 Beat offers an IPS LCD display of 5.2 inches and 1920 x 1080 resolution. It runs on the Snapdragon 615 chip and has the 64 bit octa-core processor along with 8GB of storage and 1.5GB of RAM. The battery is 2300mAh and it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and has the LG UX4.0 interface. As you might expect it has 4G LTE connectivity along with the standards Bluetoooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, a-GPS and GLONASS.
On the back of the LG G4 Beat is a camera of 8MP and this comes with support for the Color Spectrum Sensor of LG along with Laser Auto Focus. The camera is also able to take four selfie photos consecutively by just a hand gesture and when it arrives on the markets in Latin America it will have a camera of 13MP. Colour choices include gold, silver and while.
The LG G4 Beat is making its way over to market in Europe and Latin America and this should include Brazil, Germany and France, along with entering the markets in India, South Africa, Canada and Turkey.
But will you be making the upgrade if you already own an LG handset?
