The LG G3 is out and it is truly a revolutionary device. The smartphone is built with all the latest tech hardwares. This is something that the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 and the Sony Xperia Z2 failed to accomplish.
Among all the greatness in G3 is its battery. The 3000mAh energy source on the G3 is definitely bigger than those on its rivals. However, the performance of the battery tells a different story. In a recent test, the LG G3 managed 6hours and 14minutes of battery life.
Its battery life came in last, behind the HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Sony Xperia Z2. This might sound disappointing but a second test tells a different story. Despite having the largest battery in the pack, it is able to charge up to full in the pace of 120minutes. This is about half the time of the Sony Xperia Z2.
All in all, the LG’s tech superiority might nominate it to be 2014’s smartphone of the year. On the other hand, it can get too geeky to the liking of the masses.
