Last November saw the arrival of the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop and now, it looks like the Android smartphone manufacturers are preparing to roll out the OS to their respective devices. For LG, the updating is already in motion as the G3 is currently being treated to the Lollipop.
The Android 5.0 firmware was launched earlier today to the LG G3 in South Korea. The release marks the third nation of LG G3 that has received the Android 5.0 Lollipop. The update is being managed by South Korean carriers that include K Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus.
The availability of the Android 5.0 Lollipop for the LG G3 was made known in a short press conference with the nation’s tech giant. When questioned on the speed of the Lollipop update, LG revealed that they simply wanted to give the best smartphone experience to their customers.
The company spokesperson added that LG refused the idea of holding back an update, even though it is ready for roll out. LG claims that the moment the Lollipop is deemed ready for their devices; they will launch it on the spot.
With the Android 5.0 Lollipop already out, G3 users can start applying the update and get a first-hand experience at the latest OS. LG concluded their conference by saying that the Lollipop for the G3 is not far from its global release.
