LG G3 users in South Korea can already start updating their device to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop after it was rolled out OTA earlier today. SK Telecom, KT and LGUplus too are rolling out the update simultaneously to the carrier-locked LG G3.
LG revealed that the early treat is not accidental. The company actually aims at offering the update quickly as they believe that it gives their customers the best mobile experiences available. LG’s CEO, Dr. Jong-seok Park also claims that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will make the G3 better than it already is.
The latest Android OS has got many new features to offer like the all-new Material Design, lock screen notification display and Battery Saver Mode. The best part is that all of these features are included in the LG G3 update.
Unfortunately, the update is only ready in South Korea LG G3 variants. On the upside of things, LG promised to deliver the Android 5.0 Lollipop on a global scale before the end of this month. The update will be rolled out in phases that are determined by the region and country.
