It seems that LG is already rolling out the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop update to its flagship device, the LG G3. The tech manufacturer from South Korea stole the headlines yesterday when it rolled out the update in Poland and Belgium. Earlier today, the update was made available in LG’s home country, South Korea.
The company announced that G3 users can already enjoy the Android 5.0 Lollipop and the updating process is being managed by the nation’s carriers that include SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus. The update is being pushed out OTA and G3 users should receive a prompt on the update shortly.
LG also took to opportunity to brag that they are the earliest tech manufacturer to offer the Android 5.0 Lollipop and also explained that the quick launch was meant to give LG users the best smartphone experience in the world.
On the downside of things, the Android 5.0 Lollipop is still pending to reach out to the G3 users on a global scale. However, LG assured users from the rest of the world to stay patient as the update will be ready in about a week’s time.
