Just last week, LG launched the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Google Play Edition of the G3. Now, new reports have surfaced and it touches on when the latest Android OS will be pushed out the normal G3.
According to French carrier, SFR, they are planning to update the LG G3 by the end of this month. If that is to be the case, then unlocked LG G3 users can expect to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in a fortnight from now. This is because LG has the habit to update their devices ahead of carriers.
If the pattern is to follow, then G3 users can gear up to experiencing the rich and vivid colours paired with beautiful animations, thanks to the Lollipop’s Material Design. Also, the OS will be improving on the G3’s performance while also beefing up the device’s security measures.
