When it comes to choosing between the LG G2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, consumers will definitely be indecisive. Both smartphones are powerful to handle every task thrown at them. The only way to identify the better device is through digging deeper and we have done just that.
At a glance, the Note 3 is obviously the bigger smartphone. The 5.7” Super AMOLED display offers 386ppi. While that may sound impressive, the G2’s 5.2” LCD screen is much better. With a whopping 423ppi, the display on the G2 is much sharper than the Note 3.
Both devices run on the same Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. However, the Note 3 clocked more speed at 2.3GHz, accompanied by a 3GB RAM. This is slightly faster than the 2.2GHz processor with 2GB RAMS on the G2.
In terms of cameras, both the LG G2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 offers 13MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front shooter. In spite of that, the latter is the better choice as the former’s cameras are somewhat basic.
Also, the Note 3 beats the G2 as it comes with a 64GB variant and an expandable memory card slot. The LG G2 only offers 32GB.
All in all, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the better device. However, it is not worth that $147 extra which consumers have to fork out for the device.
