The people behind the top selling game Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock, has made the decision to leave Valve. Fans were very surprised to hear this news as a lot of them had predicted the game would be released sometime soon, however with this latest information the future of the zombie apocalypse in uncertain and if there is even going to be a Left 4 Dead 3 and even if the developers are planning it, fans may have a long wait ahead of them.
Turtle Rock’s Phil Robb claims that now the partnership with Valve has ended, they can focus on a new IP, which will be Evolve. He went on to say that developers had actually been interested in Evolve right from the start, but because of some restrictions with Valve, they were unable to do anything about it. He said that the game is going to be very similar to what gamers see in Left 4 Dead, where to allow yourself to get through the game you have to work with one another.
Turtle Rock said that for the time being they are done with the Left 4 Dead franchise, however there was no official statement saying that there would not be a Left 4 Dead 3, so fans are left guessing what the future has planned for them. If the decision was made to create Left 4 Dead 3, it would probably be a year after the release of Evolve.
