Earlier this year, rumours were indicating that Apple will be releasing the iPod 6G in October last month but that has failed to happen. Yesterday, new rumours suggest that the iPod 6G will be arriving next-year in March.
If this is true, then the 6G will probably share the same launch together with the iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2. It is also worth noting that both tablets from Apple were unveiled last month but the next-generation iPod failed to participate in the unveiling.
Both PhoneReview and Techmania cited the iPod 6G to arrive in October. Now, the latter agrees with the new rumours that tease the device to arrive in March 2015.
Nevertheless, when the iPod 6G arrives, it will come with TouchID and the iOS 8. The iPod 6G can be described as an iPhone 6 that doesn’t comes with the basic call functions.
