Apple might have a huge iPhone community but it won’t be enough to make the iPhone 6 a major hit when it gets released later this year. While many speculations suggest that the upcoming iPhone 6 is expected to make the latest Galaxy S5 look like trash, many tech analysts suggests otherwise.
For a start, it is with the device’s camera. The iPhone 6 is expected to feature the same camera seen on the iPhone 5S. Of course, there will be some major tweaking here and there to improve it. Best that Apple will deliver is a 10MP rear camera and nothing more.
This is a major setback as many phones have stepped up their pixel count. Yes, aperture and OIS does affect the quality of the image but the detail of the image taken is down to the pixel count.
Then there is the issue where Apple disallows their users to remove the battery. The latest iPhone 5S have a below average battery performance and this feat is expected to continue with the iPhone 6. Since the battery is non-removable, it will be a hassle if it burns out or turns faulty.
Finally is with NFC. Almost every developed city in the world today utilizes electronic payment system. With NFC, users can pay for their transportation fare with their smartphones. It is hard to understand why Apple failed to integrate their devices with such a feature.
Unless Apple makes some major leap with the iPhone 6, it seems that this upcoming device will be nothing more than an average phone.
