Apple has already released the new iPhone 6 and it is proven to be faster and more high-tech than the previous iPhone 5S. However, many users are acting in fear with the iPhone 6, particularly with their RAM usage.
On average, the complainers revealed that their iPhone 6 averaged about 970mb of RAM usage out of the possible 1GB. These affected users somehow felt that the fully utilized RAM caused some lags with the smartphone while also draining the battery faster than usual.
Well, they are wrong. There are no problems caused by fully utilizing the RAM. Apple iPhone 6 users need to actually understand how the feature works before blasting on the device.
For starters, the iOS automatically manages the RAM for the users. This particularly explains why the average free RAM stands at a range less than 50mb. Even so, it does not mean every digital memory is being utilized. What the system does is that it freezes unused and unclosed app while pumping all the memory on a single app. Also, that is the sole purpose of RAM.
Freeing up RAM space does not have any effect on the smartphone. It can be said to be like buying an 8-cylinder engine but only utilizing 4-cylinder. Consumers pay a hefty price for the iPhone 6 and they are encouraged to use up as much RAM space as possible.
As for the lags and low battery life, it isn’t surprising as many reports have already confirmed that the iPhone 6 has only 13 hours of usage time and some bugs plaguing the iOS which disrupts its fluidity on occasions. The bottom line is that; do not worry about the RAM usage.
