Apple’s iPhone 4S has been showing signs of life once again. The 2012 smartphone was thought to be on a decline until sales report sees the phone selling a whopping 30% more units than the iPhone 5C currently.
There are plenty of reasons that led to such an occurrence. The first is down to the price of the iPhone 4S, which is only at $250. Consumers don’t have to save up or think twice about taking a brand new iPhone home anymore.
The second reason of similar importance is that the iPhone 4S has a totally new operating system. iOS 7 on the 4S has been the obvious reason to sharpen the incline. For consumers to get a device that still performs and has the latest iOS at only $250 is definitely a steal. Even Android or Windows fanatics must agree.
The newer iPhone 5C, while being more stylish, simply doesn’t fit its valuation. Carrying a price tag of $469.99, the colourful iPhone 5C is scaring away many customers. It is much of a disappointment to learn that the 5C devices come on a cheaper feel, more economical, polycarbonate plastic shell which further suggest that the phone is overpriced.
While the iPhone 4S may be old of age in the “technology years”, it is still better than many newer devices. So would you get an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5C? Sound off in the comments below.
