About two months ago, both Apple and Microsoft launched a new tablet. The former released the all-new iPad Pro while the latter unleashed the Surface 3. Between the two, which is better?
In terms of price, the Surface 3 is much friendlier to the wallets as it retails from only $499. The iPad Pro is more expensive as it retails at around $599.
However, this does not change the fact that the Surface 3 is smaller than the iPad Pro. The tablet from Microsoft has a screen size of 10.8” and it runs on 1280p resolution. The iPad Pro has a 12.9” display which runs at 1080p resolution.
In terms of performance, the iPad Pro runs on the A9 processor with 4GB of RAM. The Surface 3, on the other hand, runs on tom x7-Z8700 processor, supported by 2 MB cache and Intel Burst technology (up to 2.4 GHz). The Surface 3 is offered with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM.
Both devices are great but judging from the specs above, it seems that the more ideal tablet here is the Surface 3. This is partly because of the fact that the Surface 3 is also able to function like a laptop.
