2015 Mazda CX-3 Review: Not Cheap But Worth It

The all-new Mazda CX-3 is the latest and the hottest B-SUV in the world right now. Just yesterday, we got inside one of the CX-3 and here is what we learned about the car.

The first thing is that the CX-3 is actually very pretty. We can gaze at the vehicle for hours and never get tired of its sharp and compact styling. As a matter of fact, the CX-3 finally offers something fresh and new. Most other compact SUVs all look too alike to each other.

We stepped inside the vehicle and found everything positioned in a neat and orderly manner. The dashboard is identical to that on the Mazda 2 which means that the CX-3 does have some premiums to offer.

The CX-3 we tested runs on the 2L SkyActiv-G engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This aid in producing 118hp but more importantly, ensures that the vehicle is fuel efficient. Throughout our test drive session, the CX-3 performed decently and it returns an average fuel consumption rate of 47.9mpg.
It seems that the CX-3 is simply the complete package as it excels on every front. Priced at about $25,000, the CX-3 is certainly not cheap but the above should justify its upmarket pricing.
