There is no need to spend so much when purchasing a new tablet as you can get one that is cheap and powerful. Of course, we are referring to Tesco Hudl 2 and to further prove our point, we are going to compare it with the Apple iPad Mini 3.
Retailing at £129, the Tesco Hudl 2 is viewed as a budget tablet. Well, things can get a lot cheaper if the Hudl 2 is purchased with £5 vouchers since Tesco is putting up a promo that will double the value of the vouchers if spent on the Hudl 2. As such, the Hudl 2 can be owned from just £60.
Paying this price will see you owning a tablet that sports an 8.3” display which runs at Full HD 1920x1200p resolution. For a cheap tablet, the Hudl 2’s display can really surprise you as it offers crisp image, great contrast and colours like those high-end tablets.
A stock Hudl2 comes with 16GB of internal storage but that can be expanded with a microSD card that supports up to 32GB of storage space. Also, the Hudl 2 features a 5MP rear camera and 1.2MP front shooter which is identical to those on the iPad Mini 3.
In many ways, the Tesco Hudl 2 is impressive and near-on-par with the Apple iPad Mini 3. Yes, the latter might still be better with its quick and smooth performance but considering that it retails from £319 makes the Hudl 2 the better tablet money can buy.
