Fans of the Apple iPad Air have been waiting for the latest version to arrive on the scene, which would be the iPad Air 3. However it seems that there isn’t going to be a new version this year.
There are plenty of rumours going around about the iPad Pro, along with the middle sized iPad Air 3 and the iPad Mini 4, however we have seen a new reports that has given away information about the line-up of Apple tablets and it seems that we are not going to see a successor to the iPad Air 2 as there isn’t an iPad Air 3 planned.
Apparently Foxconn has got orders just for the 12.9 inch version by the name of the Apple iPad Pro along with the 7.9 inch iPad Mini 4. So it looks as though there isn’t going to be a tablet in the middle range.
Other rumours are suggesting that the iPad Pro is going to be the flagship for this year and that the iPad Air 3 is going to be put on hold until 2016. Tablet sales haven’t been significant this year and that could be one of the reasons why it’s been put on hold.
The iPad Pro specifications suggest that the tablet is going to offer four speakers and there is going to be an additional connector port, by way of the USB Type C. The tablet is also going to offer a stylus along with the keyboard and mouse, which is optional and the tablet is going to be competition for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
The displays of the iPad Pro is said to be 12.9 inches with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 offering 264ppi. However there hasn’t been any confirmation from Apple at this stage.
