It is a sad day for football fans worldwide as the 2014/2015 season has finally reached an end. It concluded with Barcelona lifting the Champions League trophy and amidst the cheers from the fans, HTC has been showing off their limited edition gold-coloured One M9.
The official sponsor for Champions League took the opportunity to unveil pictures of the golden-coloured One M9 and it caught the attention of the masses. At a glance, one might feel that there is nothing wrong with the image at all but in reality, everything is a mistake.
This is because the 24ct Gold M9 was a model for the iPhone 6. In other words, the pictures of the One M9 were taken by an iPhone 6. Could it be a blunder on HTC’s end or was it done on purpose?
For us, we swallowed it as a major blunder, just like how Alicia Keys promoted the Blackberry with her iPhone in the past. If so, then HTC must be really furious with the employee in charge of the marketing department.
