HTC One M8 Prime: Why You Don’t Need It

The One M8 Prime is the next big thing to come from HTC as the company plans to disrupt Samsung’s move to create the S5 Prime. However, a recent leak image of the device revealed that the M8 Prime won’t be a good buy at all.

The 360-degree view of the HTC One M8 Prime was shared by notorious leakster, @evleaks. Looking at the device, it is undoubtedly beautiful. Despite that fact, things don’t look to well with the Prime’s rear camera.

It appears that the HTC One M8 Prime has a raised camera which is worrying to say the least. Such hardware is really sensitive and giving it a raise will only increase the risk of damaging it. Even when resting the device on a hard surface like on a table, the softest of impact can scratch the glass and ruin the overall quality of the picture.

The rear camera on the One M8 Prime is built to offer more than the 4MP Ultrapixel on the original One M8. Then again, this is some serious architecture flaw which consumers should consider before making the purchase.
