The HTC One M8 is a powerful device built with quality in mind. As such, it is no surprise that the One M8 is as expensive as it gets. HTC is aware of it and offered an alternative, the HTC One Mini 2.
This low-end smartphone from the One family might cost for less but the specs are a major turnoff for the consumers. It is not just with the One Mini 2, even the iPhone 5C and the S4 Mini faces the noose in failing to appeal to the consumers.
As such, HTC has lined up a new device which is both powerful and cheap. The upcoming smartphone, referred to as the M8 Ace, will be the One M8’s clone but with a different built quality. Even HTC hinted on its coming by tweeting, “More beautiful curves coming soon”.
The M8 Ace is expected to run on the Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage that is expandable via microSD. The screen will measure 5” in size which offers 1080p HD display. Other features include the Android 4.4 KitKat and the new Sense 6 UI.
Not surprisingly, the Ace is identical to its brother, the One M8. The only differences between the two are that the former has a plastic casing and the camera does not enjoy Ultrapixel.
