Some weeks ago, we shared that the HTC One M7 is still far away from receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Thus, we have recommended users to update their One M7 via XDA. Today, however, things are going to be a lot different.
Apparently, HTC has come out to share that the One M7 will be getting updated to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop starting on March 10 next week. The announcement was made on Twitter and the update will be adding in tons of new great features for the One M7.
Then again, it is worth noting that the announcement specifically quoted T-Mobile so it might be directed to One M7 users from the carrier. Even so, there is no doubt that HTC will roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the unlocked variants shortly after it addresses the T-Mobile users.
