If you are a HTC One M7 user and are desperate for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, you can head down to XDA and lookout for the newly-developed, Liquid Smooth ROM.
The custom ROM was launched last week and it contains the Android 5.0 Lollipop update built specifically for the HTC One M7. On the downside of things, the ROM is in its early built so there are some issues with it.
Regardless, the developer at XDA assured tech-lovers that he will personally fix the Android 5.0 Lollipop on the LS ROM and free it of any issues. Unfortunately, this doesn’t change the fact that applying the LS ROM on the HTC One M7 will void the device’s warranty.
Then again, considering that the One M7 is an old device, you might just want to proceed with the XDA way of updating. If so, then go to XDA and download the LS ROM. There, you will also find the installation procedure. With it, you will no longer have to wait for the official update.
