HTC has already confirmed that the One M7 will be getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop but the update won’t get rolled out anytime soon. As such, we recommend One M7 users to pick up the Liquid Smooth ROM at XDA.
Better known as the LS ROM, it had just been released by an independent developer and it also contains the Android 5.0 Lollipop. The LS ROM is built specifically for the HTC One M7 and if you are an M7 user, you should download the ROM file if you wish to enjoy the Lollipop experience.
Then again, it is important to note that the LS ROM is still in its early build so there are bound to be some issues with it. Regardless, the issues are mostly very minor and won’t affect the Android 5.0 Lollipop main functions much.
For better assurance, the LS ROM developer has already promised to update the firmware accordingly and free it from any problems. With that being said, you should head down to XDA for the LS ROM download and installation tutorial.
