HTC has yet to offer the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the One M7 and users should not bother too much about it. This is because, there is another way to obtain the Lollipop update and it is at XDA.
The developers over at XDA had just developed a new custom ROM called the Liquid Smooth ROM. The LS ROM basically contains the newer Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update and it is built specifically for the HTC One M7.
Of course, applying a ROM on device can only be done manually and it will void the smartphone’s warranty. Well, users don’t have to worry about that since the One M7 is more than 2-years old now and most units are probably out of warranty.
So, if users wish to enjoy the Lollipop experience, they can download the LS ROM over at XDA, together with the Google Apps Package. There users will find a fully detailed installation instruction that is also easy to follow.
