The HTC One M7 is still pending to receive the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop update but that does not chain the users to an endless wait for it. As a matter of fact, One M7 users can now get their hands on the Lollipop OS and this is thanks to XDA.
Independent developers had just launched the all-new Liquid Smooth ROM and it contains the Android 5.0 Lollipop built specifically for the HTC One M7. It comes with all the latest Lollipop features intact but due to it being in its early build, there will be some problems with the firmware.
Even so, the XDA community has promised to aid in identifying as well as fixing any issues with the LS ROM accordingly. This should give One M7 users more assurance in applying the LS ROM.
So if you are among the many One M7 users and wish to get the Lollipop OS, you can head down to XDA for the LS ROM and the installation production. Just keep in mind that proceeding with the LS ROM will void your One M7’s warranty.
