Phone makers can all brag on what their smartphones have got to offer but there is no point for that if one drop kills the device.
Just recently, a drop test was done on the latest Samsung Galaxy S5, iPhone 5S and the all new HTC One M8. The drop test was done on three different heights. One from the waist, secondly the head and thirdly, above the head.
As expected, the iPhone 5S was the first to break after being dropped from the head height. The Galaxy S5 went further to above the head before cracking up.
The HTC One M8 was as tough as steel as the device survived all the way to a 10ft drop before breaking into pieces.
The solid metal jacket on the One M8 certainly offers more durability than its counterpart. Heck, it even looks good on the HTC One M8.
