We do not know if Honda plans to release the Honda NSX Type R model or not but with Ted Klaus now hinting that they will keep working on the Honda NSX, some fans believe that a Type R model might actually be in the future. The question is whether people will be buying it or not.
Despite all the talk about how amazing the Honda NSX was, the model did not sell as well as they were hoping to. Some people blame the badge for the poor sales saying that people might like what they have to offer but they would never choose a Honda badge performance model at the end of the day.
According to Ted Klaus, the Honda NSX will rival models like the Audi R8 V10, Porsche 911 Turbo as well as the Ferrari 458 model which is not that ridiculous since the Honda NSX does offer about 550bhp at the end of the day.
