We have been hearing from some people who own the Moto G that they have received notifications which give them information about the pending update to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
They have said that they have begun to receive a notification and it has the title of Future Update. Apparently it is telling owners that Android 5.0 Lollipop is making its way to the handset. Owners are asked to click on the button that says More Info.
This takes them to check if their handset has the latest version of Motorola Update Services installed. Of course Motorola have already said that Android 5.0 Lollipop is making its way onto newer handsets. At the moment we know that the Moto X 2013 is having some issues with the update and this is down to the fact that it has the Snapdragon S Pro processor. Some Moto G owners already have the update as they took part in a soak test.
