Microsoft announced during their E3 press conference that Halo: Master Chief Collection, a single-disc collection of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 will be out on November 11 for $59.99.
Halo 5: Guardians will be released next year in 2015 for the Xbox One. Before you get your hands on the new Halo, you’ll be able to experience classic Halo content at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second.
“When we look at the transition of the platform and what we want to do with [Master Chief’s] story,” said Bonnie Ross, 343 Industries general manager at a pre-E3 event, “it is about his past, it is about his future, and we wanted an opportunity to be able tell his full story – exactly as you remember it – but then also with a new twist as we lead up to Halo 5: Guardians in 2015.”
