Fans who have been waiting for Half Life 3 can look forward to getting all their unanswered questions answered. Even gamers who are tired of the Half Life whining can put this whole chapter to an end.
GameNGuide revealed that Valve’s co-founder, Gabe Newell, is going to do a ‘Ask Me Anything’ on Reddit. Of course, it comes with a catch. Newell will answer the fans only if the Seattle Children Hearts Centre is able to raise $500,000 for its charity drive.
Such a move might ticked some of the fans but they will be more than willing to open their wallets. After all, it is for a good cause. The heart centre will benefit from the donation and so will the players.
However, this won’t be your average donation drive. On the 25th and 26th of January, players can go to the link and race for the donation. It will be done in the form of Daytona and with every passing lap, Newell will donate a dollar.
All in all, it is great opportunity for players to draw Newell out. The charity drive is also part of Newell’s interest for Daytona racing.
